Prime Minister Narendra Modi turns 69 on Tuesday and he has reached Ahmedabad to start the day with his mother. PM Modi arrived in Gujarat on Monday night and was received by a host of supporters and chief minister Vijay Rupani.

PM Modi was greeted by a large number of supporters at the airport who were waiting to catch a glimpse of the Prime Minister.

The puja will be part of the Namami Devi Narmada Mahotsav which is being organised by the Vijay Rupani government to mark the rise of water levels --138.68 metres -- in the Sardar Sarovar dam.

PM Modi had inaugurated the Sardar Sarovar dam project on September 17, 2017, but due to lack of rainfall, water levels remained low. This time, due to massive rainfall in Madhya Pradesh, water levels rose in Narmada river as a result of which this dam too reached its maximum capacity.

Sardar Sarovar is India's largest dam and second largest in the world. This project will cater to power and water needs of four states - Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra and Rajasthan.

Vhali Dikri Yojna

Sardar Sarovar dam is known as the lifeline of Gujarat because its water can be accessed by even the last village in Kutch district. Water from this dam is made accessible to 131 towns and cities and 9,633 villages in Gujarat through 457 canals spanning 75,000 kilometres.

The dam in full capacity can irrigate 18 lakh hectares of agricultural land. It can also supply drinking water all over the state in the next two years.

Hans Christian Gram

Google Doodle honours microbiologist Hans Christian Gram on his 166th birth anniversary

Hans Christian Gram 166th Birthday: On
the 166th birth anniversary of Hans Christian Gram, Google has remembered him by creating a special Doodle. This doodle has been created by Danish guest artist Mikkel Sommer. In it, he shows the important work done by Gramm. Hans Christian Gramm died on 4 November 1938. In this doodle, from Grams to their glasses, a microscope and samples of bacteria are shown. It is also seen doing Gram research. Born on September 14, 1853 in Copenhagen, Denmark, Hans Christian Gramm is credited with developing techniques to identify and characterize different types of bacteria. This technique is still used today.

Hans Grahame's father was a professor of Jurisprudence, his name was Frederik Terkel Julius Gram, and his mother's name was Louise Christiane Roulund. In his early life Gramm's focus was on natural science, but his B.A. He became interested in medicine while working as an assistant in botany at the Copenhagen Metropolitan School and in a zoo.

Hans Christian Gramm received his MD in 1878 from the University of Copenhagen. And worked as an assistant in several hospitals in Copenhagen. Research done by Hans Christian Gramm has been over 100 years, but the inventions made by him are still very valuable today. This proves that Hans Christian Gramm has done very important and respected work during his lifetime.

Gram was modest about his findings

Gram-positive bacteria appeared purple when looked at under a microscope while Gram-negative bacteria was able to be washed away with the solvent. Thanks to Gram, pneumococci, which is blamed for causing several diseases, tested Gram-positive.

The Danish microbiologist's findings were published in a scholarly journal in 1884 where he wrote: “I have therefore published the method, although I am aware that as yet it is very defective and imperfect; but it is hoped that also in the hands of other investigators it will turn out to be useful.”
Little did he know it would still be used more than a hundred years later.

Highlights

1.Contact with Vikram broken 2.1 kilometers from the lunar surface
2.Tension was seen in scientists after Vikram lost contact
3.PM Modi encouraged scientists on this occasion

India's ambitious mission Chandrayaan was lost on Friday just 2 kilometers from the moon. Lander Vikram lost contact with the moon surface 2.1 kilometers before the lunar surface. Just before this everything was going well, but this accident suddenly caused silence in ISRO's control room. Millions of people drowned in desperation while staring at the television. All this happened during the most difficult 15 minutes of Lander Vikram's soft landing on Chandrayaan. There are still hopes of contact with Vikram and Pragyan, but it will be like a miracle.

The first attempt was to land at the South Pole

ISRO scientists had already reported that the last 15 minutes of landing would be the most complex. The biggest challenge was to successfully land Vikram at the speed of the moon successfully. Vikram changed his direction at the last moment, after which he lost contact.
Mukhyamantri Amrutum | MA Card Scheme 2019
It is known that no country has been able to land on the South Pole till date. Since Friday morning, this mission was the biggest topic of discussion not only in the country but worldwide. While crores of people stayed on TV till night, social media also dominated. Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself was present on the occasion with 70 talented students selected from across the country present at ISRO Center. On July 22, Chandrayaan-2, which was launched by GSLV-MK-3M-1 rocket, is the most important mission to find water on the moon.
In the last two minutes, the breath stopped and the time stopped.
After years of hard work, dedication and dedication, when ISRO was giving its biggest test, not only the scientists but the breath of the whole country ceased. As the landing time approached, the anxiety of every Indian present in the world increased. Cutting each moment was heavy. As if the time had stopped

When the speed was reduced to zero
The last 15 minutes of the landing process on the lunar surface were extremely challenging. Preparing to land five km above the surface, Vikram had a top speed of 331.2 kmph. Overcoming this, Vikram was brought to 2.1 km altitude from the lunar surface. From here its speed was reduced to zero, so that it could be removed slowly.

Vikram's broken contact In
these moments of despair, Chief Sivan of ISRO appeared. He said that Vikram's contact has been lost. Vikram and Pragya are lost somewhere. ISRO chairman K Sivan said, "The mission of Vikram Lander landing on the moon was going according to plan and everything was normal till 2.1 km altitude. After that, Vikram's ground station lost contact. The data is being analyzed.

PM encouraged,

Vikram saw tension in the scientists after he lost contact. PM Modi encouraged him on this occasion. Encouraging ISRO chairman K. Sivan, he said to be adventurous. ISRO has said that the data is being analyzed. In the initial phase everything was going well but in the last moments Vikram lost contact. It has been said by ISRO that after analyzing the data, it will be told what happened to Vikram.

Thar Express is an international railhead. It connects Pakistan's Karachi with the Jodhpur city of India. This train runs across the border between Pakistan's last railway station Khokhrapar and Munabav in India. There is a distance of six kilometers between these two stations. However, Pakistan has maintained a zero line railway station above the border. In such a situation it operates across the border. It is the oldest rail service between India and Pakistan. During the Indo-Pak war of 1965, its tracks were damaged. After this the railway service was discontinued. Later this train service was resumed from 18 February 2006. During this time, stressful situation occurred between India and Pakistan but this train service continued.
