Indian Cryptocurrency Exchange Zebpay Shuts Down Operations

Amidst the global crypto market slump, Zebpay, one of the biggest cryptocurrency exchanges in India, has shut down operations following the regulationsimposed by the Reserve Bank of India earlier this year.

In an official blog post, the company revealed that all unexecuted cryptocurrency transactions will be canceled starting at 4:00 PM on September 28th, and after that, no cryptocurrency orders will be accepted. Zebpay notified that all incomplete orders will be refunded as crypto coins and tokens back into the Zebpay wallet of customers.

“The recent past has been extremely difficult. The curb on bank accounts has crippled our, and our customer’s, ability to transact business meaningfully. At this point, we are unable to find a reasonable way to conduct the cryptocurrency exchange business. As a result, we are stopping our exchange activities”, the company said in an official blog post.
Zebpay has assured that despite halting the cryptocurrency exchange business, the Zebpay wallet will be functional, allowing customers to initiate a transaction using their crypto coins and tokens for making online purchases or investing in a venture. Also, Zebpay’s existing customers will be able to conduct deposit and withdrawal from their wallet.

Back in April, RBI issued a new directive which prohibited institutions falling under RBI’s regulation from engaging in cryptocurrency trade, citing serious concerns about consumer protection and possibly facilitating crimes like money laundering. Aside from forbidding financial bodies from dealing in cryptocurrencies, RBI also asked them to sever ties with all private firms and parties involved in cryptocurrency trade.
Following RBI’s directive, cryptocurrency prices in India tanked, with Bitcoin, Ether, Litecoin, Ripple and Bitcoin Cash being the major crypto denominations which suffered a sharp decline in their exchange value in India.
Back then, Zebpay was among the cryptocurrency exchanges which lowered the quoting price of Bitcoin significantly by listing its exchange value at Rs. 3,75,580, compared to its international exchange value of Rs. 4.29 lakh at that time. Now that Zebpay has halted trading, other cryptocurrency exchanges such as WazirX have pounced on the opportunity to poach Zebpay’s existing customers.

Motorola One Power vs Mi A2 vs Nokia 6.1 Plus: A Quick Comparison

Motorola just dropped its new smartphone with Android One and a huge 5,000mAh battery. Since the Motorola One Power is priced at Rs 15,999, I thought it would be fair to compare it with other Android One devices in the segment.

When someone says Android One, Nokia’s smartphone come to mind. From among this league, the Nokia 6.1 Plus which has almost similar specs is the first device to crop up in my conscience. Besides Nokia, Xioami had recently launched the Mi A2which is the successor to the company’s first Android One device – Mi A1

With a similar set of specifications and nearly identical build, let’s take a look at points where the phones are similar, and other areas where there are differences. Let’s start by comparing the specifications of the Motorola One Power against the Nokia 6.1 Plus and Mi A2.

With a similar set of specifications and nearly identical build, let’s take a look at points where the phones are similar, and other areas where there are differences. Let’s start by comparing the specifications of the Motorola One Power against the Nokia 6.1 Plus and Mi A2.

Moto One Power vs Mi A2 vs Nokia 6.1 Plus: Specs Comparison

Now that we’ve gone over the similarities as well as differences among the three devices in terms of hardware, let’s take a quick look at the feature which might impact your user experience.Moto One Power vs Mi A2 vs Nokia 6.1 Plus: Features Comparison

Build & Display

The most easily observable difference among the Motorola One Power, Mi A2, and Nokia 6.1 Plus is their build, sizes, and display. Motorola has slapped a large 6.2-inch display on the One Power and has included a notch, and the 6.1 Plus uses a much smaller 5.8-inch screen with the same resolution and a notch, whereas the Mi A2 has a 5.99-inch display without a notch.

This results in both – Motorola One Power and the Nokia 6.1 Plus – having a higher screen-to-body ratio compared to the Mi A2. Moreover, the smaller panel results in a higher pixel density on the Nokia 6.1 PlusWhen it comes to the ease of handling, the Nokia 6.1 Plus is the easiest to operate because it fits squarely within your palm. If your preference is a larger display, then the Motorola One Power makes more sense.

Huawei Confident Kirin 980’s Dual-Core AI Chip Outperforms Apple A12 Bionic

Huawei unveiled its new flagship mobile chipset the Kirin 980 at IFA earlier this month and was touted to be the first processor built upon the 7nm architecture. However, the Chinese giant is faced with competition from Apple’s A12 Bionic chipset, which powers the latest iPhones.

We know Huawei will be launching phones with the Kirin 980 chipset in October, and the company is ready to talk in detail about what Kirin 980 chipset brings to the table. Huawei told Beebom in an interaction last week that phones with the Kirin 980 chipset would be coming to India in the fourth quarter i.e. before the end of 2018. This is quite interesting as it hints at the possible arrival of the upcoming Huawei Mate 20 lineup to the country, following up on the P20 Pro launched earlier this year.
Huawei was very keen to explain how the 7nm Kirin 980 chipset compares to Apple’s A12 Bionic chipset. And the short answer is: Huawei is confident that their mobile chipset is superior to the A12 Bionic chipset, as per a recent interview with TechRadar.

Know More :- 17+ Amazing Tips & Tricks to Improve iPhone Battery Life 2018 (How to Save iPhone Battery Life)

The company said it has been working on the development of the Kirin 980 for the past three years, with over 5000 prototypes developed until the final one. The company executives boast that they’ve been working on their on-device AI technology (backed by dual-core NPU) for a far greater time than Apple, which they believe should give them an upper hand against the A12 Bionic.
Brody Li, Huawei’s Senior Product Director said, Being a pioneer in AI last year, we’re thrilled to launch the Kirin 980 equipped with the industry’s first dual NPU, one of industry’s first. The Kirin 980 has been designed as an all-around powerhouse that not only features outstanding AI capabilities but also brings cutting-edge raw performance to consumers.”
The Chinese giant hadn’t conducted tests against the A12 Bionic just yet since the latest Apple devices just came out but we can expect the Kirin 980 to be benchmarked against Apple’s newest chipset very soon. It’s difficult to say whether Apple’s in-house processor would be able to stack up against Huawei’s HiSilicon Kirin 980 chipset, but the latter will certainly be one step ahead on the AI application front.
