After Samjhauta, Pakistan to suspend Thar Express service

day after Pakistan stopped Samjhauta Express at Wagah, its railway minister
Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed announced cancelling of Thar Express that connects Jodhpur
to Karachi.
“Samjhauta and Thar Express
will not run. I am stopping it now… As long as I am Railways minister,
Samjhauta Express and Thar Express will not operate. That’s it. Let me see who
runs them,” Mr Ahmed said in a press conference on Friday. Mr Ahmed added that
though he wanted to stop the Thar Express immediately, Pakistan Prime Minister
Mr Imran Khan gave the permission to let the last train go on Friday.
Verdict
of both the rulers,
Roshan Biwi, who has become the daughter-in-law of India, has made his daughter
Shana the daughter-in-law of Pakistan. On 25 August, son Mo to go to
Pakistan to join his nephew's marriage there. Bhagat's kothi arrived with
Rafiq. She cried hearing of the cancellation of the train here. Roshan
said that the rulers of both countries take decisions but do not think of those
who are divided into borders, come and go for many years. Sefu Khan of

Thar Express is an international railhead. It connects Pakistan's Karachi
with the Jodhpur city of India. This train runs across the border between
Pakistan's last railway station Khokhrapar and Munabav in India. There is
a distance of six kilometers between these two stations. However, Pakistan
has maintained a zero line railway station above the border. In such a
situation it operates across the border. It is the oldest rail service
between India and Pakistan. During the Indo-Pak war of 1965, its tracks
were damaged. After this the railway service was discontinued. Later
this train service was resumed from 18 February 2006. During this time,
stressful situation occurred between India and Pakistan but this train service
continued.
